Are you worried about wall mounting of your flat screen TV? It’s nothing to worry, if you read this article. When you go for wall mounting of your TV, the wall mount brackets are the first thing that you will require.
Now, there are three types of brackets used in TV wall mounting and which form the basis of the three types of wall mounting of your flat screen. The three types of wall mount brackets are low low-profile, tilting and full-motion wall mount. They have their own advantages and disadvantages as well. Let’s look at the different Flat Screen TV Wall Mounts
Low-Profile Installation of Flat TV
Mounting a flat TV using a low-profile bracket is the most convenient option than other two available options and is the lowest-cost option too. The low-profile bracket is as simple to install as you hang a portrait on the wall. Though a low-profile is the easiest way to mount your TV, it restricts you in moving your TV from its position once the installation is complete. This is a disadvantage that makes it difficult to change cables of your TV. Since it’s a flat panel and mounted on a wall, you will have to physically take the TV out of the wall every time when you need to change its cables.
Tilting TV Wall Mount
The price of this types of wall mount brackets comes in between that of the low-profile wall mount brackets and the full-motion wall mounting brackets. Normally, the installation of tilting wall mounts is not that complex and is quite similar to a low-profile mount. The key benefit that a titling wall mounting gives you that you will be able to set your vertical angle viewing, which is not possible in a low-profile mount. These mounting brackets have a spin in the middle of the brackets. This pin enables it give you a viewing angle that you need at a point of time. Changing cables is not a problem in a tilting wall mount unlike it’s in the case of low-profile mount.
Full-Motion Installation of Flat TV
Though a full-motion TV wall mount is the most expensive one, you enjoy a great convenience when you will get the ability to give your TV a full motion. They are the costliest of all types of wall mounts. There is a certain degree of complexity in installing this type of mount. The moving piece or arms coming with this type of mount make it rather complex to install. And thus, you will need 2-3 extra men to help you try to hang your TV on the wall using a full-motion mount bracket.
